Prior to Gilliam leaving, Steve returns to the condominium and an arguement ensues. Gilliam, who has the Bryco/ Jennings 9mm in his possesion can not physically subdue Steve and pulls the gun out and forces Steve on the couch.
At the time the bodies were discovered there was only $7 in Steve's wallet. No large sums of cash were recovered which would be typical for someone of Steves status and according to Gaddy was normal for Steve.

Barbara W. I read about the silver car in the book. I don't/cannot understand WHY this was not a major factor of the investigation-that the car was seen at Sahel's apartment "on the very day" of the murders & WHO was driving it & WHY were they in her apartment?????
